What does RAINPLANER® calculate for shaft infiltration?

Dimensioning of infiltration shafts according to current DWA standards. When groundwater depth is insufficient, the distribution across multiple shafts can also be calculated.

Calculation Methods

Shaft Type A – base and side areas

Infiltration via base and side areas, optionally according to DWA-A 138-1 (10/2024) or DWA-A 138 (2005).

Shaft Type B – base area only

Infiltration exclusively via the base area, optionally according to DWA-A 138-1 (10/2024) or DWA-A 138 (2005).

ATV-A 138 (Reinhold rainfall intensity)

Calculation with the location-specific rainfall intensity according to Reinhold (r(D=15min,n=1)).
